Location: Los Angeles, CA
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm in all 50 States, has an immediate need for a Litigation Paralegal and an ETT Paralegal in the Los Angeles area.
Litigation Paralegal (3+ years)
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience. Ideal candidates will have a solid knowledge of litigation support and case management, experience organizing large caseloads, discovery, trial preparation and experience assisting at trial, and familiarity with the California and Federal rules of civil procedure. Responsibilities include client contact, document review and production, drafting and responding to discovery, indexing, exhibit preparation, investigation and research.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
ABA approved Paralegal certificate
3+ years of trial and litigation paralegal experience
Proven litigation skills
Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity or comparable litigation support software
Excellent analytical and written communication skills
Familiarity with trial presentation software such as Sanction or Trial Director
Environmental/Toxic Tort experience is a plus

ETT Paralegal (3+ years)
Ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of asbestos litigation experience.
Qualifications:
Significant knowledge of court rules, calendaring, e-filing and procedures
Preparing and filing legal documents (CA federal and state courts)
Work independently on pleadings, discovery and motion preparation, document review, case management research and trial support
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong analytical and organizational skills; as well as close attention to detail
Proficient computer skills – (Microsoft Office 2016, Excel, and iManage)
Candidates should be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, team-structured setting.
Paralegal certification is a plus.
Bachelor degree is a plus, but not required
