Responsibilities
Document creation, filing, management, and analysis for large cases
Scheduling Medical record summaries and chronologies
Procurement of medical records/HIPAA compliance
Preparation and service of subpoenas and discovery requests
Preparation of pleadings and discovery responses
Preparation of routine status reports to clients or counsel
Statewide roster/docket monitoring
Electronic filings/ECF with Federal Court
Tracking time spent on client matters and entering in CMS billing system
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts degree or Paralegal Certification
4-6 years of Worker’s Compensation experience
Experience in insurance billing requirements
Experience tracking and billing time on client matters
Proficiency in Case Management Software
Skills & Attributes
Keen attention to detail and organization
Thorough understanding of litigation process
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
Ability to manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment
