About the Position
We are seeking a Paralegal to join our firm. This individual will be responsible for providing support to our lead attorney and managing the day-to-day operations of case load. This position will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of litigation including, but not limited to, discovery, trial preparation, trial coordination, and case management. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team. *On site training prior to remote employment. Prefer applicants reside in reasonable travel distance to Orlando for training and occasional on site work.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Workers’ Compensation defense paralegal experience required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal electronic case management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
