Paralegal – $25 – $35.00/hr based on experience, great work environment and flexibility to WORK FROM HOME!
McCollum Crowley P.A. is seeking a full-time paralegal to join our Workers’ Compensation Practice Group in the Rice Lake, Wisconsin office. We are seeking a candidate with over 2 years of paralegal experience.
A successful applicant will be a self-starter who can adapt to new challenges and learn independently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Adobe, Centerbase, NetDocuments or any legal billing software is a plus.
The ideal candidate will be able to perform or learn the following tasks:
Assistance with preparing medical authorizations to send as part of informal/formal discovery.
Assistance with analysis of medical records and reports in paperless environment.
Sorting medical records via Adobe.
Drafting independent medical examination and vocational evaluation cover letters.
Dictation assistance for drafting medical chronologies.
Assistance with e-filing in workers’ compensation portals.
Preparation of hearing exhibits with Bates labels, if required.
Reviewing and managing medical records in a paperless environment.
Assistance with updating calendar with hearing notices.
Communication with clients and attorneys regularly.
Backup to legal assistant in transcription and incoming outgoing mail.
