ABOUT THE ROLE
The Transaction Compliance & Support Manager will work directly with our team of agents to provide advice, support, or confirmation on how to handle situations and/or forms for all facets of a real estate transaction.
The Transaction Compliance & Support Manager will support agents by providing guidance during unique transactions, complex and high-stakes deals. They will support the agent by using their specialized knowledge and negotiation tactics to help the agent navigate through an unusual transaction.
This role will also advise agents on handling routine objections and concerns from clients and/or co-op agents and brokers. The Transaction Compliance & Support Manager will work with the agent to identify situations that may need escalation and escalate it to the appropriate parties with BHGRE Gary Greene.
Real estate transactions can be emotional, there may be times where a transaction is at risk due to misunderstandings, miscommunications or mismatched expectations between buyers, sellers, or agents. The Transaction Compliance & Support Manager can provide calm, professional guidance to agents to reduce stress and keep things moving forward.
This role will attend agent training courses to maintain their license and familiarity with updates to regulatory requirements.
The Transaction Compliance & Support Manager will also attend company training courses and meetings as necessary to maintain familiarity with company policies and procedures. They will attend BHGRE Gary Greene staff/management/leadership and agent meetings as needed to provide information as well as obtain information.
LOCATION
Onsite – Various BHGRE Gary Greene offices within the Houston Metro including the central office in the Galleria area
SKILLS AND QUALITIES
Strong Negotiation Skills: The ability to find mutually beneficial solutions in tough situations.
Deep Market Knowledge: Understanding market trends, property values, and financing options.
Legal and Contractual Expertise: Has a history of ethical handling of transactions and dealings with clients and colleagues. Familiarity with real estate laws and the ability to handle complex legal documents and issues.
Problem-Solving Ability: Creative thinking to come up with solutions that meet the needs of all parties.
Excellent Communication: Clear communication skills, verbally via phone, in-person and written to help parties understand the situation and how it can be resolved. Not only should the communication be clear but also pleasant.
Empathy and Patience: Understanding the emotional rollercoaster that buyers and sellers often experience and knowing how to manage it. Not prone to becoming overly excitable over a situation.
Technically savvy: Utilize CRM, transaction management systems, form platforms, MS Teams, screenshots, email, etc. . . both from a real estate agent perspective and an administrative management perspective.
Training and Coaching Ability: Ability to “train” and coach agents on the correct way to handle situations and contracts (individually or group settings)
QUALIFICATIONS
· Must have a Texas real estate salesperson license, preferably a Texas real estate Broker’s license.
· Over 10+ years of experience as a licensed real estate agent.
· Directly managed real estate agents for 2+ years.
· Direct experience with mediating difficult situations with emotional parties.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
