Job Description: We are seeking a diligent and highly organized Paralegal to join our respected family law firm. The ideal candidate will possess excellent research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in providing comprehensive legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

– Assist attorneys with all phases of case preparation and management

– Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases

– Draft and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, contracts, and briefs

– Organize and maintain case files and other legal documents

– Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the case

– Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial binders

– Review and analyze documents for discovery purposes

– Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times

Qualifications:

– Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or related field

– Proven experience working as a Paralegal or in a similar role

– Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures

– Proficient in using document management systems such as Dropbox or similar software

– Familiarity with Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw or other legal research tools

– Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
