We are working with a highly regarded law firm seeking a diligent, self-motivated, and experienced Property Paralegal to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with a Partner on a diverse range of property matters, including commercial and residential transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role, a proactive approach to risk management, and a strong commitment to client care. Professional training and career development opportunities will be available for the right candidate.
The Role:
Responsibilities will include:
Managing freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
Handling re-mortgages and refinances, including properties held in companies.
Assisting with buy-to-let purchases and refinances.
Preparing and filing SDLT returns.
Drafting reports on title and mortgage documents.
Addressing pre-contract inquiries.
Filing registrations with Companies House and the Land Registry.
Additional exposure to drafting commercial leases and ancillary documents, preparing CPSE replies, and organising data rooms would be advantageous.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
A degree qualification (LPC or SQE1 completion preferred).
Commercial or residential paralegal experience required (minimum 1+ experience)
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
IT proficiency.
