Stein Sperling is seeking an organized Paralegal/Accountant to join our Tax and Litigation Support Department. The ideal candidate will assist with financial forensics, tracing analyses, preparing historical and common-size financial statements, calculating actual and after-tax income, and case management related to tax and litigation support matters. This role requires strong financial acumen, knowledge of accounting, and tax laws.
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal, accounting, or tax-related environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Accounting Software tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
Experience working in a law firm, accounting firm, or IRS is preferred
Experience with accounting and tax software programs is preferred
This is an Hourly Non-Exempt Position with an Annual Salary Range of $65k-$80k
