Responsibilities
Provide full case support from initiation to resolution, including personal injury and medical malpractice matters.
Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Conduct legal research and compile findings to support case strategy.
Communicate with clients, providers, and opposing counsel to gather and exchange information.
Maintain organized and accurate case files and documentation.
Assist in trial preparation including coordinating exhibits and preparing witnesses.
Manage scheduling and personal/travel arrangements for the Managing Partner.
Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure timely and effective case management.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Paralegal in Personal Injury law.
Strong familiarity with medical malpractice litigation is preferred.
Prior experience in a reputable New York Personal Injury firm is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
Strong proficiency in legal research and drafting.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Skilled in legal software and Microsoft Office applications.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
Paralegal certificate preferred.
