About the Company:
We are working with a European provider of utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plants, employing over 150 people. They develop, finance, and construct solar projects globally, with operations in the Middle East, Europe, the US, Canada, and the UK. The business is divided into project development and construction, and last year, their legal team officially split into these two areas. For this role, the focus is more on the litigations and disputes side. The legal team operates remotely on an international scale, led by the General Counsel, and supported by lawyers specialising in EPC contracts.
Position: Paralegal.
Focus: Litigation and Disputes.
Experience:
Eye for detail, very organised individual who can deal with detailed points in lots of claims.
Role would deal with some older issues from previous employees who worked here, individual needs to do document reviews.
Has dealt with 4-500 page contract playbooks, quick reference books, contract clause additions.
Candidate would carry out primarily preventative work – dealing with warranties etc.
Academics: English law background.
Reports to: Head of disputes (US lawyer), but working in the wider EPC team (of 5).
Location: UK time zone or as close to as possible (CET).
