POSITION SUMMARY

The Practice Assistant provides high-quality administrative support in the office and is responsible for a wide range of administrative and organizational tasks. This position provides assistance to attorneys and Practice Coordinators with requests to support practice and client needs. This interactive position requires the ability to receive, assess, prioritize, and execute tasks in a timely and effective manner. It requires a high level of attention to detail, responsiveness, critical thinking skills, and professionalism.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate and manage calendars; assist with the planning of meetings and events, working closely with Firm concierge resources on logistics and execution.
Assist with making travel arrangements
Submit and track expense reimbursements and vendor invoices.
Enter attorney billable time.
Perform basic word processing tasks include formatting, editing, and revising documents in Microsoft Wordâ„¢.
Assist with logistics for some business development activities.
Provide administrative services support to attorneys with a focus on tasks requiring on-site execution and in person interaction with attorneys and legal support staff.
Scan and distribute documents; collect and organize case and deal related documents for attorneys.
Receive, assess, and prioritize projects and tasks. Provide clear and timely communication on project and task status and confirm upon completion.
Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
One year of administrative support experience required.
This is an in-office role and will be expected to be in the office at least 4 days per week.
