Family Law Litigation Paralegal
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with at least three (3) years of experience to support a family law attorney. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Health coverage: We cover up to 80% of the premium of Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) EverydayHealth PPO Silver 5800/100 and up to 50% of the premium for their Dependents. We offer a Dependent Care FSA plan, a Health Savings Account (HSA) plan, a High-Deductible Health Plan, Health Flex Savings Account (FSA), and Short Term Disability Insurance.
401(k) with matching: We match 100% of Employee contributions up to 3% of Employee’s pay and 50% of employee contributions for the next 2% of pay.
Performance: We offer our employees bonus incentives without caps to incentivize excellent work, client satisfaction, and a positive culture within the organization. Bonus structures are tailored for each position and department.
Recruitment: Existing employees who recruit a full-time paralegal or attorney to join Modern Law will receive a $5,000 commission for each attorney and a $2,500 commission for each paralegal.
Referrals: Any person who refers a client to Modern Law is eligible for a $200 referral fee, even our employees! Bonus: The client will also receive a $100 credit toward their account after 90 days.
Tech Budget: Full-time employees are provided an annual $1,500 budget to be used toward additional software and/or any physical or technological equipment they may want to use to enhance productivity and enjoyment.
Health Budget: We provide all Employees access to a $500 annual health and wellness budget. This budget may be used for any equipment, classes, memberships, apps, etc that support your overall wellness and whole health.
Education: Our full-time employees receive up to $5,250 per year for student loan payments or current eligible educational expenses.
Compensation:
$50,000 – $85,000 annually
Responsibilities:
Do Great Work:
Assist in developing creative legal strategies and managing cases with a focus on client satisfaction.
Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
Conduct legal research and compile evidence to support case strategies.
Be a Great Team Member:
Collaborate closely with your attorney and the entire legal team, ensuring seamless communication and teamwork.
Handle day-to-day case management, including client communication, calendar management, and document preparation.

Provide exceptional client service by keeping clients informed and empowered throughout their cases.
Adapt your communication style to meet clients where they are, ensuring they feel supported and understood.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a paralegal in family law.
Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
