Mount Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to oversee compliance for our OMH Article 31 clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OMH-specific regulations and demonstrate expertise in ensuring adherence to Medicaid, HIPAA, and OMH standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, review, and update policies and procedures to ensure OMH and Medicaid compliance.
Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) audits on treatment plans, session notes, and clinical documentation.
Monitor and report on incident management, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for data privacy and security.
Train staff on compliance-related topics, including OMH regulations, HIPAA, and Medicaid requirements.
Serve as the point of contact for compliance-related inquiries and audits.
Stay updated on changes to OMH regulations and implement necessary updates in clinic practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
At least 5 of experience in compliance management for OMH Article 31 clinics.
In-depth knowledge of Medicaid, OMH regulations, and HIPAA compliance.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
