We are a boutique law firm in the Brisbane CBD who specialises in Personal Injury Law.
THE JOB
We are looking for a Paralegal/Legal assistant to join our team on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm).
Supporting various team members within our firm, your duties will include but not be limited to:-
Collecting, sorting and distributing mail;
Diary management and making of various appointments;
Providing support in managing a large file load;
Preparing legal documents and correspondence;
General administrative support to the Solicitors and other staff;
Diary and travel management;
Organising medico-legal appointments;
Preparing briefs to Counsel and medical specialists;
Liaising with clients, insurance companies, Solicitors and other law firms;
Relief support for answering phone calls and assisting with enquiries; and
General office assistance.
Court filing;
Banking;
THE CANDIDATE
We are looking for someone who has office experience within a professional environment. Ideally someone with prior experience working in a law firm is desirable however not required. University students studying law are encouraged to apply.
The job itself is very fast-paced and we therefore will need someone who has the ability to multitask and works well under pressure, as well as someone with impeccable time management skills and attention to detail.
