Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid or remote role for a NY Workers’ Compensation attorney at Terry Katz & Associates, P.C. The attorney will be responsible for handling workers’ compensation cases, advocating for injured individuals, negotiating with insurance companies or self-insureds, and ensuring that clients receive the benefits they are entitled to. While the role is based in Uniondale, NY, remote from home is acceptable.
Qualifications
Employee Benefits and Claims Handling skills
Insurance and Claims Management experience
Customer Service skills
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Licensed attorney in the state of New York
Prior experience in workers’ compensation law is a plus
