A fast-paced boutique litigation firm in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal / Legal Assistant (Hybrid) professional to join a collaborative team supporting approximately 12 attorneys. This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in full-cycle litigation, including supporting an upcoming trial, working on complex matters in both state and federal courts, and contributing to every phase of the litigation lifecycle. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is detail-oriented, and is equally comfortable handling high-level paralegal responsibilities and essential legal assistant duties while working closely with attorneys on critical case work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-cycle litigation support, including drafting, formatting, and filing pleadings from start to finish in state and federal courts.
  • Manage discovery and eDiscovery processes using tools such as Relativity, including document review, production, Bates stamping, and redaction.
  • Prepare Tables of Contents (TOCs) and Tables of Authorities (TOAs), assist with legal research, and ensure high-quality document formatting using Microsoft Word, Adobe, and PowerPoint.
  • Support deposition and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, assembling trial binders, and contributing to strategies for an upcoming trial.
  • Maintain and track deadlines through calendaring systems (preferably Compulaw), ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.
  • Communicate with courts, vendors, and internal teams while handling administrative tasks such as proofreading, correspondence, and file management to support overall litigation efforts.
  • Please note the working hours for this position are 11AM-7:30PM
