I am partnering with a leading Hedge Fund in their search for a Paralegal to join their impressive legal team. They are looking for a highly organised and proactive Corporate/Commercial Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Role Overview:
The Paralegal will be responsible for providing general legal and administrative support to the hedge fund’s legal department. You will assist with a wide range of corporate and commercial legal matters, including contract management, regulatory compliance, and general corporate governance, as well as handling various administrative tasks essential to the smooth functioning of the legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Assisting with the preparation and filing of corporate documents, including incorporation, governance, and compliance filings.
Conducting legal research on corporate and commercial matters.
Managing and organising legal documentation and correspondence.
Coordinating and liaising with external legal counsel on various matters.
Assisting with the maintenance of legal databases and case management systems.
Providing general administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
Assisting in the preparation of board packs and legal reports.
Supporting in due diligence processes for corporate transactions.
Handling ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate/commercial or financial services environment.
Strong knowledge of corporate governance, commercial contracts, and financial regulations.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a high level of professionalism.
Law degree or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential).
