What Will You Do?
As a Paralegal Intern, you will gain exposure to various aspects of intellectual property work, including:
Assisting in the preparation and filing of trademark, patent, and other IP applications;
Learning how to maintain IP prosecution records and databases;
Supporting IP rights maintenance tasks (renewals, annuities);
Helping with due diligence and in-use investigations;
Assisting with customs seizure reports and related matters;
Contributing to portfolio management and integration;
Translating documents between the local language and English.
What Are We Looking For?
Students in their final years of law or related schools;
Strong written and verbal English language skills;
Eagerness to learn and develop in the field of intellectual property;
Attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Good organizational and time management skills;
Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
