We are currently hiring an entry-level Legal Assistant for our Probate department. Maybe you want to get into the legal field but need some practical experience. Or maybe you have experience and are looking to join a killer team. In either case, we want to hear from you.
This is a full-time, in-office position at our Clearwater location. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

DUTIES:
Assist with the Probate department by:
Phone and email correspondence with clients, third parties, and the court.
Lots of follow-up with clients to gather and/or confirm information.
Scheduling appointments for the attorneys and paralegals.
Organize and maintain client files.
Calendaring all relevant case deadlines.
Preparing letters, correspondence, and miscellaneous documents related to the cases.
REQUIREMENTS:
You care about clients, want them to succeed, and strongly desire to deliver the best service possible.
Technologically savvy (computer, apps, etc.) and can quickly figure things out when you don’t.
Positive and upbeat communication style.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work well in a high-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Experience with the Florida E-filing Portal and Westlaw (Preferred)
You like talking on the phone.
You don’t take yourself too seriously.
