Our firm is currently building a Talent Pool for a future Civil Paralegal position. If you are highly motivated, detail-oriented and passionate about civil law, we encourage you to express your interest in this position.

Responsibilities

As a Paralegal, you will assist our legal team with case preparation, research, document drafting, and providing essential support throughout the litigation process. You will be exposed to a wide range of legal matters and be responsible for a range of tasks, including: 

Be the first point of contact for client enquiries;

Drafting routine correspondence, reviewing and editing letters and documents;

Responding to emails, liaising with various stakeholders;

Assist with case management and client communication;

File management and maintenance of e-archives and office precedents; 

Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries; and

Provide general administrative support to the legal team 

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will:

Be available on a full-time basis.

Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a Paralegal role within law – experience in Civil law preferred;

Strong research and writing skills;

Display a high level of enthusiasm, energy, initiative, and commitment to work.

Have sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe, with exposure to legal document management systems such as Clio being a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; and

Possess strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
