Job Overview
We’re a respected, client-focused law firm serving families across Northeast Tennessee in family law and estate planning matters. We’re looking for a skilled, dependable Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced but supportive environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in helping clients through some of the most important transitions in their lives.
As a paralegal at Page & Cook, you’ll work closely with our attorneys and other paralegals/legal assistants to prepare pleadings, manage discovery, organize case files, and ensure that every detail is handled with precision and care. You’ll play a key role in supporting our clients and keeping their cases moving efficiently from start to finish.
Duties
- Accurately draft pleadings, discovery, and correspondence for attorney review;
- Maintain organized case files, calendars, and court deadlines;
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and other professionals;
- Assist attorney with preparing for hearings, mediations, and trial;
- Anticipate needs, follow through on tasks, and support a smooth team workflow;
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in a law firm setting, preferably in family law and estate planning;
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive;
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
- Comfortable communicating with clients who may be under stress;
- Professional, dependable, and solution-oriented;
- Natural problem solver;
- Multitasker (ability to juggle many tasks without dropping the ball, and do it with a smile);
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, and ability to learn a case management system;
- Ability and willingness to learn and grow;

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,500.00 – $55,000.00 per year
