Job Description And Duties
Under the general supervision of the Senior Assistant Attorney General, Supervising Deputy Attorney General, or the designated Deputy Attorney General, the Senior
Legal Analyst performs a wide variety of paralegal duties relating to investigations, litigation, and other matters handled by the Environmental Justice and Protection
Section at the California Attorney General's Office. These tasks include, but are not limited to: researching, compiling, and analyzing facts, data, and documents; using
and advising on computerized litigation support software, such as Relativity; preparing draft legal documents; assisting with trial preparation, legal research, and
communications with the public; acting as Case Coordinator for ProLaw; assisting in maintaining files, logs, and statistics; and assisting with administrative matters for
the management of the Section.
