Paralegal – Debt Recovery (Service Charge)
We are looking for an experienced Debt Recovery Paralegal to join our Service Charge team. If you are an individual looking to join a fast moving and growing business then we want to hear from you.
Duties will include:
Managing a varied caseload linked to collecting ground rent and service charge arrears
Management of the day to day completion of tasks within the case management system
Accountable for completion of an allocated amount of daily tasks specific to the progression of debt recovery files
General court procedural work – preparing and filing court forms, adhering to deadlines
Corresponding with clients and providing the necessary advice and services, based on the firm’s specialism and advising on likely costs
Advising on the law and legal issues relating to the client’s case
Creating letters tailored to the client’s individual needs
Negotiating with third parties, clients and other professionals to secure settlements
Corresponding with third parties
With an undergraduate degree in Law (or equivalent experience) and working in a debt recovery role with management of your own caseload, you will be able to demonstrate how you meet your deadlines and KPIs and are resilient and tenacious.
