Leading aviation company is seeking a paralegal for a one-year contract. This is a hybrid role based in Houston, for 30 hours/week. The ideal candidate will have a paralegal certification and at least 4 years working as a transactional paralegal in a law firm or large publicly-traded company, with strong working knowledge of commercial contract principles and procedures, including non-disclosure agreements
Scope of Work
Title: Paralegal (Secondment)
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Houston (On-site Tuesday – Thursday)
Hours: 30 Hours / Week
Hourly Pay Rate: $50-$60/hour
Benefits: Vision, medical, dental, 401k (all 99% covered)
Responsibilities
Reviewing, drafting, revising, and negotiating contracts for worldwide sales team.
Work independently with internal clients, as well as with outside parties and customers on sales transactions.
Facilitate and coordinate with internal stakeholders the successful completion of corporate and travel agency contracting, sponsorships, and participation in internal and external events.
Reviewing, drafting, revising, and assisting in the negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements (e.g., sales agreements, amendments and addenda, non-disclosure agreements, sponsorship agreements, event contracts with vendors, hotel contracts, releases, consulting services agreements, and sustainable aviation fuel agreements)
Developing, updating, and maintaining contract templates, forms, policies, and guidelines
Working on projects and performing legal research on various topics as assigned.
