Responsibilities:
Provide legal support to other members of Tencent Legal with a focus on product and regulatory compliance
Provide general legal support and assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned from time to time
Co-ordinate with external counsels and internal counterparts to ensure delivery of top-quality legal service to our internal clients
Set up, manage and maintain a legal database
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above (preferably in law) from Hong Kong or other countries
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
Able to draft, review, comment, proof-read and negotiate commercial agreements and documents in English and Chinese
Willing to learn new areas of law with an open mind
Ability to work independently, diligent, result-oriented, self-motivated and have a strong sense of responsibility
Sound interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and with ability to work under pressure
Expert knowledge in working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to manage external professional parties and internal counterparts
A self-motivated team player with positive attitude
Attentive to details
Experience in a reputable law firm as a paralegal/legal consultant is preferred but not essential
Based in Hong Kong with occasional travel to the headquarters in Shenzhen
