Paralegal – Compliance & Revenue Division (Toll Road) Jobs in Houston, TX at Harris County
We are a busy law firm seeking a full-time, in-person legal assistant/paralegal to manage real estate closings from start to finish. We’re looking for a detail-driven, deadline-hitting Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. This isn’t a “stay in your lane” kind of role—this is a roll-up-your-sleeves, wear-multiple-hats, be-a-team-player kind of law firm.
If you’re the type who thrives on variety, takes pride in precision, and doesn’t mind reviewing surveys one day and jumping in to help format documents the next, you’ll fit right in. If you don’t have the closing experience we are looking for, please don’t waste our time or yours!
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting real estate attorneys with all phases of commercial and residential closings
Reviewing title commitments, exceptions, and surveys (bonus points if you’ve caught the sneaky stuff before anyone else)
Preparing and proofreading closing documents and checklists
Managing deadlines and keeping deals on track without needing a babysitter
Coordinating with title companies, lenders, clients, and other counsel
Occasionally helping out with document formatting, version control, and secretary tasks when needed—because we all pitch in around here
What we’re looking for:
3+ years of commercial real estate law experience
Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, and closing documents
Familiarity with Texas closing processes and timelines
Solid organizational skills and a respect for deadlines
A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Ability to juggle multiple deals and personalities without losing your mind (or your cool)
In-Person: Must be available to work full-time in our North Dallas office.

Bonus Points For:
A habit of catching mistakes before they happen
You know the difference between a boundary dispute and a personality dispute—and can handle both diplomatically
Experience with ProLaw is a plus
A sense of humor is a requirement
Work Location: IN PERSON – Yes, we’re old-fashioned and expect you to physically show up to the office.
