Job Type: Full-Time (In-Person; Hybrid Potential)
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Experience Required: 3–5+ years of Virginia personal injury experience
Jennifer Porter Law is a growing boutique personal injury law firm seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal / Case Manager to join our team. We are a modern, paperless firm known for proactive case management, compassionate client service, and strong legal workflows. If you are organized, client-centered, and experienced in Virginia PI claims, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement
- Communicate frequently with clients to provide updates and support
- Request and organize medical records, medical bills, and insurance documentation
- Prepare demand packages, legal correspondence, and settlement documents
- Track treatment progress, liens, subrogation, and deadlines
- Assist with litigation support: discovery, subpoenas, exhibits, and trial prep
- Maintain organized digital case files in a cloud-based case management system
- Use VOIP phone systems, e-sign platforms, and other modern legal software
Requirements
- 3–5 years of personal injury paralegal or case manager experience in Virginia
- Experience with third-party claims, UM/UIM claims, and insurance negotiations
- Strong comfort with technology, cloud-based systems, and paperless workflows
- Excellent communication and client-relations skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational habits
- Friendly, extroverted personality and ability to build client trust
- Ability to follow structured workflows, checklists, and deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, positive attitude
Work Environment
- In-person position in our Springfield office
