Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Paralegals attend due diligence interviews; perform precedent and other ad-hoc legal research; conduct prospectus verification and other IPO-related tasks; assist in preparation of various documents (e.g. A1 documents, prospectuses, due diligence questionnaires etc.); prepare English-Chinese translation of legal documents; and organise client meetings and taking minutes.
Required Qualifications:
- Law degree is an advantage but not a must.
- Preferably with prior work experience in capital markets.
- Excellent command of written and verbal English and Mandarin.
- Strong communication skills and great attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced and driven environment.
- Sound knowledge in the use of computer and various IT programs.
- Occasional travel to PRC may be required.
- Immediate availability preferred.
