Job Title: Paralegal (Bilingual – English/Spanish)

Location: Fully Remote, Mexico

Rate: $5.00 – $8.00 per hour based on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

As a Paralegal, you will have hands-on experience in litigation support tasks, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Experience with drafting legal documents and managing filings
  • Familiarity with discovery processes and document review
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal).
  • Experience with legal software and document management systems.
  • Comfortable communicating with clients and supporting legal processes.
  • Experience with New York (NY) litigation procedures strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Employment litigation experience is a plus
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude.ai or Harvey.ai is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and draft basic legal documents, including motions, complaints, discovery demands, and discovery responses
  • Handle court filings and ensure compliance with applicable rules and deadlines
  • Review and organize document productions
  • Maintain case files and litigation materials
  • Assist with calendaring deadlines and court dates
  • Provide general support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have their own work device (preferably a desktop or laptop) and a stable internet connection.
  • Must be comfortable with using a time-tracking software for payroll purposes.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background verification check during the final stages of the hiring process.

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:

  • A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
  • A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
  • A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
  • One-time reimbursement for a healthcare provider of your choice
  • Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
