We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our General Counsel legal team in a fast-paced environment. This role involves legal intake, file organization, research, drafting, templating, billing, calendaring, and client communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal procedures, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities

Legal Intake & Client Communication

Conduct initial client intake, gather necessary information, and assess legal needs.

Communicate with clients to provide case updates and request additional details or documentation.

Maintain professional and timely client interactions via phone and email.

File Organization & Document Management

Organize, maintain, and update physical and electronic case files.

Ensure all legal documents are properly labeled, stored, and accessible.

Manage version control of legal drafts and finalized agreements.

Legal Research & Drafting

Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and regulations to support attorneys.

Prepare memos, case summaries, and legal briefs as needed.

Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, pleadings, and corporate documents.

Maintain and update legal templates for efficiency.

Calendaring & Case Management

Manage deadlines, hearings, and appointments for the legal team.

Coordinate court filings, case deadlines, and reminders.

Assist in preparing attorneys for client meetings and court appearances.

Billing & Administrative Support

Track billable hours and assist with client invoicing.

Ensure proper time entry and documentation of legal work.

Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling and office organization.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum 2+ years in a legal assistant or paralegal role (experience in general counsel, corporate, or litigation support preferred).

Skills:

Strong legal research and writing ability.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal software, and case management systems.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Strong client communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of billing and timekeeping in a legal environment.
