Paralegal Jobs in Elmira, NY at Denton Law Office PLLC
We are adding an experienced paralegal with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in state court litigation, transactions for real estate and construction matters as well as personal injury and first party insurance claims. Candidate will work with clients, courts and opposing counsel as point of contact and litigation support. Candidate will update and calendar firm docket, perform legal research, draft correspondence, discovery, pleadings and related documents, and file documents in case and real property records. This is an in-person position.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of Texas litigation experience
Experience in conducting legal research
Experience in drafting letters, pleadings, motions and orders
Knowledge of Texas and federal rules and procedures
Experience with trial preparation and briefs.
Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Be friendly and work well in a social in-office environment
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred, and appropriate certification(s).
Paralegal certificate preferred
