A leading veterinary company seeks a talented and commercially minded Paralegal to join their collaborative and dynamic team on an initial 6 month fixed term basis. Based in Hertfordshire, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring compliance with data protection laws and supporting a variety of legal functions across corporate governance, contract management, and dispute resolution. This role is hybrid with 2-3 days in the office.
About the role
You’ll tackle diverse responsibilities, ranging from drafting and reviewing contracts and governance documents to managing data protection policies and processes. You’ll work closely with stakeholders on matters such as Data Processing Agreements, Data Protection Impact Assessments, and responding to Subject Access Requests. Additionally, you will support the preparation and filing of statutory documents, manage intellectual property portfolios, and contribute to corporate transactions and risk management.
About you
The ideal candidate will be a highly organised and proactive individual with a strong foundation in UK GDPR, corporate governance, and legal administration. You will hold a legal qualification and bring strong experience in data protection within a corporate or regulatory setting.
