Based in London
Medlock Partners are partnering with a legal 500 law firm based in London who are looking to recruit a Paralegal to join their business crime team. The successful person will ideally have experience within criminal, ideally within business crime and also a strong knowledge of the anti-money laundering regulations.
Key responsibilities of the Paralegal – Business Crime
· Provide administrative support to the lawyers across the department
· Interaction with clients, answering questions and updating them on cases
· Conduct and carry out in depth legal research
· Build strong relationships with clients, legal experts and other professionals
· Preparing document bundles for court
· Ensuring compliance with file management system
Key requirements for the Paralegal – Business Crime
· Previous paralegal experience within a criminal law firm
· A strong understanding and knowledge of anti-money laundering, bribery and corruption legislations
· Experience with preparing interviews under caution
· Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
· Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, travel arrangements & diary management
· Ability to remain clam and professional but agile to changing requirements
