The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Paralegal to join the Aviation Finance practice group on a permanent basis.
Paralegals provide assistance to solicitors in the delivery of legal services. Paralegals differ in their background, experience, training and responsibilities but will essentially perform work which requires legal knowledge, creativity in problem solving and independent judgement. It is expected that individuals within a paralegal role will place a great deal of emphasis on client service and will demonstrate openness to a diverse range of job assignments.
Responsibilities include:
Document management
Assisting in process mapping
Assisting in due diligence exercises
Assisting with transaction completion activities
Assisting with post-closing follow up
Drafting documents
Research
Skills and Experience:
Skills
A high degree of initiative and follow through;
The ability to multi-task;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Excellent attention to detail;
The ability to prioritise work effectively;
An ability to work effectively within a team;
A flexible positive attitude towards work
Experience
Minimum 2 years relevant experience;
Legal qualification (degree or diploma) desirable but not essential;
Previous experience in a legal environment;
Strong general administration skills with strong word processing skills and experience with document management systems
