Our client, a leading strategic communications firm, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support its Legal & Finance teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and with external stakeholders. This individual should thrive in a dynamic environment and be comfortable handling confidential and sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.

**Please note this is a part-time, hybrid, contract role with potential of conversion based in San Francisco, CA. Pay will be $30-35/hour, with compensation negotiable upon full-time conversion.**

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and manage a variety of legal documents, including engagement letters, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Scopes of Work.
  • Partner closely with internal and external legal counsel on matters involving contract revisions, debt collection, bankruptcy issues, and subpoena responses.
  • Track and follow up on active contract drafts with prospective clients to help drive timely execution and closure.
  • Maintain and distribute regular reporting on contract activity, including executed agreements, terminations, and pending matters.
  • Support senior leadership in preparing and responding to requests from regulatory agencies, including FINRA.
  • Serve as the central custodian for incoming legal and client-related information, ensuring accurate CRM entry and appropriate internal distribution.
  • Act as a key point of contact for incoming client and CRM-related inquiries.
  • Provide project management, administrative, and operational support for the Legal & Finance teams’ day-to-day functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program required.
  • 5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably within the securities litigation department of a large law firm.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent analytical and project management capabilities.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Microsoft Office required.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
  • Demonstrated willingness to take initiative, learn new skills, and support evolving business needs.
