Location: Hybrid (Remote & Columbia/Rockville, MD)
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 (DOE)

Child Justice, Inc. is seeking a Paralegal to join our team and play a vital role in supporting complex family law litigation and client services.

What You’ll Do
Assist attorneys in case preparation, document review, and trial support
Conduct client interviews, gather evidence, and summarize case files
Manage legal calendars, deadlines, and case management systems (e.g., Clio, MDEC)
Draft legal documents, correspondence, and discovery materials
File legal documents with courts and maintain case file organization
Help clients access non-litigation resources and referrals
Engage in legal education and outreach efforts
What We’re Looking For
✅ Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent legal experience
✅ Experience in family law, domestic violence, or legal services preferred
✅ Strong legal research, writing, and document management skills
✅ Excellent client service and interpersonal communication skills
✅ Ability to prioritize multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work independently
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro, Dropbox, CLIO, MDEC, or similar legal software
✅ Commitment to serving survivors of interpersonal violence and child abuse
