We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support legal professionals through document preparation, document management, case management, and communication with clients, in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains filing and retrieval systems, as well as digital archive systems.

Maintain case files, ensuring all materials are properly organized and up to date.

Maintains Chief Legal Officer (CLO) calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, dispositions, and travel.

Assists and supports legal counsels with their work as needed.

Prepare documentation for litigation, and compliance matters across various jurisdictions.

Draft professional communications and handle queries in a timely manner.

Organize meetings, conferences, and document translations when required.

Enhances the department effectiveness by providing information-management support.

Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics to help coordinate case preparation.

Reads, researches, reviews, verifies, and routes correspondence, reports, and legal documents.

Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, including contracts, agreements, letters, pleadings, and filings.

Represents CLO by communicating on their behalf and obtaining information, following-up on delegated assignments, and knowing when to act and when to refer matters to attorney.

Maintains department confidence by keeping departmental information confidential.

Records and documents meeting discussions, maintains transcripts, and documents.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

10 years of paralegal/Legal Assistant experience, with at least 3-5 years working with International law firms.

University degree.

Proficiency in document management systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Fluency in English & Arabic is mandatory

Strong organizational and communication skills

Self-starter

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Outstanding time-management and typing skills

Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people
