Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Contract Family Law Attorney to join our team on a flexible, part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience practicing family law in Washington State, with a deep understanding of local procedures, statutes, and case law.
This is a remote, contract-based role, offering flexibility and autonomy. While courtroom appearances will generally not be required, the attorney may occasionally be asked to participate in depositions, discovery matters, or trial preparation as needed.
A key component of this position involves mentoring junior associates, offering guidance on case strategy, client communications, and legal drafting to support professional growth and ensure quality of service across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic oversight and legal advice on complex family law cases
Mentor and support junior associates with legal questions, document review, and case planning
Participate in occasional depositions, discovery, or court appearances when necessary
Collaborate with the broader legal team to ensure consistent, high-quality client service
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Washington State
At least 10 years of dedicated experience in family law
Strong analytical, communication, and mentorship skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
