About the Role:
We are seeking an entry-level law associate who thrives on relationship building, proficiency in their profession, and a passion for building something meaningful. This role is perfect for a dynamic individual who enjoys networking, fostering relationships with real estate agents, and providing exceptional legal services. Our firm is counsel to an established state-wide title company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct real estate closings with professionalism and confidence.
· Build strong relationships with real estate agents, brokers, and industry professionals.
· Teach real estate law classes and present at industry events.
· Review title documents to ensure smooth transactions.
· Draft, edit, and review legal documents related to real estate transactions.
· Provide legal guidance and support to clients throughout the closing process.
What We’re Looking For:
· Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
· Licensed (or pending) to practice law in Virginia (or ability to obtain licensure).
· Exceptional public speaking and interpersonal skills.
· A natural ability to network and build relationships.
· Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
