Advent Talent Group is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support contract review and analysis for a range of business and commercial agreements for our non-profit client in Minneapolis, MN. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong contract analysis skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, template-driven environment.
Overview:
Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN
Contract Length: 6–8 weeks, with potential to extend
Hours: 40 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP start!
Hourly Rate: $45-60/hr.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze business and commercial contracts as directed by the Sr. Director.
Summarize key terms, obligations, and risks; document any gaps or areas of concern.
Provide actionable recommendations based on findings from contract reviews.
Utilize standardized templates for consistency in reporting and documentation.
Assist in the review of grants, awards, and partnership agreements (healthcare experience a plus, but not required).
Categorize contracts and track variations across agreements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, including procurement and legal teams.
Ensure work aligns with scope, timelines, and process expectations.
Qualifications:
Strong ability to read and interpret complex contract language.
Experience conducting gap analysis beyond surface-level review.
Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with internal stakeholders.
General industry awareness across various functions such as: Technology, Real, Estate, Legal, Human Resources, Contingent Labor, Clinical Trials/Study Contracts, or Procurement and Business Development
