Azumi Group are currently looking for a Paralegal to join our in-house legal team, based in our London head-office. As the Paralegal, you will assist the legal department in a variety of legal disciplines including technology, media and telecommunications, intellectual property, real estate, data protection and corporate and commercial law.
Our ideal Paralegal candidate will be responsible for the collection and organisation of documents and information from various cases within the group. You should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and interacting with our partners, including keeping all documents important to the cases, organised.
Please note – this position is initially based on a 12-month FTC, with the possibility to extend.
Main Duties
Your key responsibilities as a Paralegal will include:
Contractual Guidance: oversee and advise on the terms of contractual arrangements across various business areas and jurisdictions, including supplier agreements, service agreements, joint ventures, and property leases.
Intellectual Property Management: handle a range of IP matters, including protection, enforcement, strategic planning, and portfolio oversight.
Documentation and Compliance: draft and update precedent documents and bespoke agreements, ensuring alignment with current legislation and regulatory requirements.
Risk and Governance Advisory: provide insights on risk management, regulatory frameworks, and governance practices to support informed decision-making.
Cross-Jurisdictional Coordination: collaborate effectively across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring seamless communication and operational alignment.
