Your new role
As Paralegal, you will be tasked with assisting the procurement team on a broad range of vendor agreements. Your responsibilities will include:
Draft, review, negotiate, and analyse supplier contracts to ensure alignment with regulatory standards, legal obligations, and internal policies.
Lead regulatory uplift initiatives for contracts, ensuring timely execution and strategic alignment.
Prepare and present reports to Executives and the Board on regulatory contract compliance progress.
Research and interpret regulatory requirements to inform contract and compliance practices.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings to coordinate contract-related regulatory compliance efforts and resolve issues.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to consolidate documentation for regulatory and contractual compliance.
Support control owners-including Cybersecurity, Legal, and Privacy-in assessing and managing supplier-related risks.
Monitor and report on compliance activities, ensuring alignment with policy and regulatory frameworks.
Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management frameworks and mitigation strategies.
Maintain and update risk and contract records in relevant systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Assist in implementing policy processes and support stakeholders in meeting procedural requirements.
What you’ll need to succeed
Previous paralegal experience in reviewing and drafting commercial agreements
Excellent attention to detail
Good initiative
Fantastic communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to engage with stakeholders of all levels
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Financial services experience will be highly regarded
