Purpose

The purpose of this position is to work alongside of the Executive Leadership team to perform a wide variety of duties according to established policies and procedures. Assists Leadership with routine and complex contracts and projects. Observes confidentiality of all matters. The Paralegal is responsible to maintain the accuracy and integrity of all contracts, keep all contract up to date in Salesforce.

Essential Functions

Assists in drafting/revising client/business agreements, memoranda, correspondence, forms, reports, and other legal documents

Works with internal stakeholders throughout the client contracting process from initial draft to full execution;Manages document workflow

Monitors, tracks all contracts for updates, expiring and/or renewals via contract management system

Organizes memos and other relevant documents for outside attorney review and preparation when required

Sets up and maintains files which are organized chronologically, numerically and/or by subject matter

Conducts research of laws and regulations and other information related to the matter/contract

Performs legal research tasks using all available resources including libraries and computer data systems

Locates and confers with experts and resource people

Fulfills requests from outside counsel and other related parties

Anticipate issues that may arise and able to put into place plans to mitigate issues

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor

degree and/or Paralegal Certificate/Degree

Experience:

Five to 7 years of related experience

General Working Conditions

General office working conditions can be remote work from home or in the office. Each department head determines if position is work from home or hybrid meaning works from home and in the office as needed. Work schedules vary. When working in the office pod workstation area has little or no privacy. Involves extended periods of sitting at a workstation performing computer duties. Constant flow of interruptions by personnel, visitors to area and telephone calls. Private workstations are available as needed. Certain positions are assigned an office.
