Duties
- Assist attorneys with case preparation.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Manage case files efficiently using document management systems like TrialWorks.
- Support litigation processes through document review, filing court documents, and maintaining litigation calendars.
- Conduct client interviews to gather relevant information and facilitate communication between clients and attorneys.
- Organize and coordinate project management tasks related to personal injury cases.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion while maintaining compliance with procedural law requirements.
Requirements
- Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in personal injury law.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence that are clear, precise and professional.
- Effective client communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining strict adherence to privacy standards.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document processing and project coordination.
