We are expanding and currently seeking two new attorneys to join our team on a full-time (37.5 hours a week) basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to social justice and a desire to make a positive impact in our community. As a full-time attorney, you will:
· Independently manage your case load which includes providing counsel and advice, brief and extensive services, and advocacy through contested and uncontested matters
· Conduct client intake
· Represent clients on all matters related to divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, and injunctions for protection
· Represent tenants in landlord tenant matters
· Draft correspondence, pleadings, and other written documents
· Appear in depositions, hearings, and trials
Skills/Qualifications:

· Communicate effectively
· Exercise sound judgment
· Manage contested hearings
Must have:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Florida bar and in good standing with no disciplinary actions.
Experience:
Experience in litigation and family law is preferred but not required. Newly admitted attorneys are welcome to apply! Training will be provided to motivated candidates with a demonstrated passion for family and landlord tenant law.

Compensation starts at $85,000 with salary adjustments based on experience, plus bonuses.
Excellent work-life balance; 37.5 hour work week. Option to remote work two days a week after 6 months of employment

Time Requirement: SCBALAS office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm. This is a full-time, salaried position.
