Profile Requirements:
- 2.5–5 years Paralegal experience
- Hands-on LEAP system experience (non-negotiable)
- Strong administrative and organisational capability
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work autonomously within structured processes
Core responsibilities:
Legal & LEAP System Support
- Manage legal matters within LEAP Legal Practice Management System
- Draft and prepare legal documents (contracts, correspondence, court documents)
- Maintain accurate case files, document registers, and matter updates
- Assist with workflows across conveyancing, family law, or commercial matters
- Ensure documentation aligns with Australian legal standards and compliance
Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to lawyers and legal teams
- Manage inboxes, calendars, and scheduling
- Prepare reports, summaries, and general documentation
- Organise and maintain digital filing systems and records
- Assist with billing support, timesheet tracking, and document collation
Research & Analysis
- Conduct legal and general research to support case preparation
- Compile findings into clear summaries or briefing notes
- Assist in gathering background information for matters and client requirements
Ad Hoc & Operational Support
- Support ad hoc administrative tasks across the legal team as required
- Assist with process improvements and documentation standardisation
- Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties where appropriate
- Provide overflow support across admin, coordination, and project-related tasks
