Role Description This is a on-site Paralegal role based in Manchester. The Paralegal will assist solicitors with casework, including gathering information, conducting legal research, and preparing, organising, and maintaining case files and documentation. Daily tasks include drafting and formatting legal documents, reviewing and summarizing records, and ensuring all materials are accurate and filed on time. The role involves communicating with clients, courts, and other parties, scheduling appointments, and supporting solicitors with hearings and meetings. The Paralegal will follow internal procedures, comply with regulatory requirements, and contribute to efficient case progression.
Qualifications:

LLB/LLM/LPC PREFERABLE
Farsi/Dari/Kurdish bilingual preferable
Experience in immigration/family/litigation/property preferable

  • Solid understanding of Law and legal procedures, with experience supporting solicitors or legal teams.
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing legal forms and correspondence.
  • Strong Research skills for case law, statutes, and regulations, and ability to present findings clearly.
  • Attention to detail in Document Review, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and ensure accuracy.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Relevant legal education (e.g., paralegal qualification, law degree, or equivalent experience).
  • Competence in using standard office and case management software, and maintaining confidential information appropriately.
  • Organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple matters and meet deadlines.
