Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and Attorney to join our personal injury litigation team.
The ideal candidate will have some trial experience or willingness to learn, be able to manage a docket, be able to settle and work up cases of varying sizes, have experience in mediation, deposition, filing petitions, or be willing to learn.
This role requires excellent research and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to write compelling legal documents. The Litigation Attorney will represent clients in court and other legal proceedings, ensuring their rights are protected and advocating for their best interests.
Duties
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to prepare for cases.
Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes efficiently.
Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to litigation practices.
Provide clients with clear guidance on legal options and potential outcomes.
Experience
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in Texas
Proven experience in litigation or related areas of law is preferred.
Strong skills in legal research and writing are essential.
Familiarity with personal injury.
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Pay will be salary plus commission based on settlements. Range is estimated based on salary + commission model.
