Description:
We are seeking a Paralegal at Ownership located in Dubai. The candidate can expect to be involved in all aspects of IP work undertaken by the firm, reporting to an Associate, Senior Associate or Principal. The candidate will be responsible for:
Filing and prosecuting trade mark, copyright and design applications in the UAE.Preparing official documents for submission to the UAE Trade Mark Office and other UAE IP Offices.
Conducting trade mark searches.
Docketing and monitoring application workflow and Final date to receive applicationss.
Instructing overseas agents on trade mark, copyright and design applications.
Preparing cost estimates and standard reports for clients.
Assisting on intellectual property enforcement and litigation matters, including liaising with enforcement authorities and UAE advocates.
Requirements:
Education
to at least degree level.
Relevant experience of at least 2 years.
Familiar with IP management systems (eg, Equinox, WebTMS).Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
