The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Paralegal to support the growing breadth and volume of legal, governance and compliance activity across the business.
This is a newly created role, designed to strengthen legal operations and improve efficiency and risk management across the organisation. You will play a critical role in supporting contract lifecycle management, maintaining legal systems and processes, and ensuring the smooth coordination of legal activities across multiple stakeholders.
Working closely with the legal team and broader business, you will bring a strong administrative and systems mindset, enabling timely delivery of legal support while contributing to continuous improvement of workflows and processes.
The Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including approvals, execution, filing and renewal tracking.
- Maintain the contract database and ensure accurate, accessible legal records.
- Support preparation, formatting and administration of commercial contracts and legal documents (including NDAs and standard agreements).
- Act as a key coordination point between the legal team and business stakeholders to ensure efficient contract workflows.
- Undertake legal research.
- Support the Legal function with reporting and matter tracking.
- Maintain and update legal templates and precedents to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Support legal operations by managing systems, registers and documentation, ensuring efficient and well-governed delivery of legal services.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency and risk management.
Skills & Experience
Ideally to be successful in the role you will have:
- Experience in a paralegal or legal support role within a commercial or in-house environment.
- Exposure to contract administration, legal documentation and compliance processes.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and document management systems (e.g. Word, SharePoint, DocuSign).
- Strong attention to detail and highly-developed organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels of the business.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify and improve processes.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications are desirable but not essential.
