I: Job Summary
The Paralegal will mainly support the Legal team, particularly in maintaining and organizing files, conducting legal research, and drafting documents.
II: Key Duties and Responsibilities
Include but not limited to the following:
Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles; and present conclusions in an organized manner;
Organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems;
Gather, review, and organize information to assist with case preparation;
Prepare first drafts of correspondence and legal documents;
Develop original content like articles, translations, and business development pieces;
Liaise with clients to schedule meetings and respond to clients’ enquiries about their case status;
Support any other ad-hoc projects as directed by the Legal team, Senior Associates, and/or Partners.
III: Major Challenges and Requirements:
Fluent or near native command in written and verbal English;
At minimum a LLB or Diploma in Law or equivalent
Be legally authorized to work in Hong Kong
Salary will be commensurate to experience
