Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Immigration Paralegal to join our team onsite in Hollywood, Florida. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), highly organized, and well-versed in employment and investment-based immigration law. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently, and a strong understanding of immigration procedures and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate with clients in person, by phone, and via email to gather documents and provide case updates
Explain timelines, manage client expectations, and ensure a seamless application process
Prepare and file work visa applications, including EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, EB-5, H-1B, L-1, O-1, P, E-1, E-2, consular processing, labor certifications, I-140s, and I-485s
Review and analyze client documents, employment records, and supporting materials for compliance with immigration regulations
Maintain client files, track deadlines, and ensure timely submission of all required documents
Liaise with USCIS, consulates, and other legal professionals to facilitate case progress
Assist with translations of legal documents, ensuring accuracy in both English and Spanish
Stay informed of updates in immigration law and policies, particularly those impacting business immigration
Perform administrative and case management tasks as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in immigration law, with a strong focus on employment and investment-based visas
Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, policies, and procedures related to work visas
Experience using MyCase or similar case management software
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Technical Skills
Proficiency in case management software (MyCase or similar), Microsoft Word, and Outlook
Familiarity with USCIS processes and website navigation
